Antique English Side Saddle
While I have not taken this saddle to a saddle maker (side saddles are r
are in our area, esp. antique ones), I will describe it to the best of my knowledge.
This is a rare find! Circa mid-1800s in excellent shape for its age. This saddle was bought to show in, but it is too narrow for today's horses. It would be a beautiful addition to a collection. It has had some leather replaced over the years, but the majority of it appears to be original. While I cannot find the name of the maker, the number 1498 is stamped on the left hand side. This saddle features beautiful 
tooling and a nicely padded seat. This saddle does have some wear and tear, but is still in very good shape for its vintage. More photos available on request. You will look a long time to find another side saddle of this age in this shape!

SHOW CLOTHES
We are cleaning out our closets! All clothes are well cared for and stored out of light in a smoke-free home. Most are in excellent to like-new condition. While it's hard to get the photos to show accurate color, we have done our best. 
We used the following guidelines for measurements: shoulder - point of shoulder to point of shoulder; sleeve - point of shoulder seam to cuff; back - center top to bottom of coat. Please contact us if you have any questions or wish to view larger or other photos.
